Our story starts back in 2008, when we packed our bags and moved to the U.S. on student visas to chase the American Dream.
Somewhere along the way, that dream turned into something real: a thriving wedding videography company in Southern California, Boffo Video, built from the ground up with creativity, hustle, and a lot of late nights and long weekends.
Paul, a Business and Marketing graduate from San Beda College Alabang with a Certificate in Film from Fullerton College, is the creative force behind it all.
His passion for storytelling through video led to Boffo Video’s success, a popular podcast called Wedding Bossness, and even becoming the first Filipino videographer featured by Canon USA. If it involves cameras, editing, or dreaming up ideas—you can bet Paul’s behind it.
Bea, a Communication Arts graduate from De La Salle University with a Certificate in International Business Management from Fullerton College, is the powerhouse who made things happen behind the scenes.
With a sharp eye for management and sales, she personally booked over 600 weddings, events, and corporate projects—turning Boffo Video into not just a business, but a brand clients loved and trusted.
On paper, we were living the dream. But after 13 years in California, one big reality remained: our investor visa wasn’t a path to permanent residency. We had to keep renewing every 2 years. So during the pandemic, we asked ourselves a tough question—are we okay to just be on this visa forever?
The answer led us somewhere unexpected.
In 2022, we made another leap. We sold everything, packed all our belongings into 6 suitcases, and moved to Valencia, Spain in search of something different: a slower pace, more stability, and a better quality of life. Spain delivered—and then some. By July 2024, we officially became Spanish citizens.
Now, through our YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram channel Everything is Boffo, we share what we’ve learned along the way—the wins, the challenges, and everything in between. Paul leads the creative vision, while Bea connects with experts, professionals, and families to help others make their own move to Spain with confidence.
We’re incredibly grateful for our journey—from the Philippines to the U.S., and now to Spain. Each chapter shaped who we are today.
And if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s this: sometimes the dream changes… and that’s where the real adventure begins.
